Regarding the Emerald News. I thought it was kind of ironic that the article for trees(the greening of Greenbrier), even though they are drought tolerant trees was right above the drought alert. It stated that it was the homeowner would have to agree to water them for two years.

I would tell Councilmember Emerald to take the 6% salary reduction like other city employees and give up her slush fund as other councilmembers should do..
